Welcome

We just returned from Kentucky where we attended the Panic at the Disco concert. It was our first chance to complete a "Random Act of Kindness" and to "Pay It Forward." I had planned this trip in November and the tickets were one of the girlz' Christmas gifts. Our hotel was connected to the venue, and we went over in the morning to look around and find out where the VIP entrances were. It was around 11 am and the doors didn't open until 6pm. I was horrified to see 3 young ladies sitting by the door. Bless their hearts they were very fair skinned and only had an umbrella and their hoodies for protection. We chatted with the girls for a quick bit and left for lunch. I kept thinking about them, sitting in the spring sun, with no waters left.  It was a warm day, and they were just not prepared. So we headed to CVS to pick up some items for them. We bought sunscreen, aloe gel, waters, snacks and wet-wipes. We took it to them and they were so excited and thankful. After the concert we were sitting in our seats waiting for the upper levels to clear out and those 3 girls found us. They thanked us again and told my girls how kind they were. Now, I know the point of R.A.K. and Paying It Forward is to complete and act and not brag or boast about it. I can assure you this blog won't be doing that. What I didn't do while in Kentucky is to ask the 3 girls questions and find out more about them. I want to share our R.A.K. as a way to encourage others to do the same. The concert community is a very kind group and sometimes I think people need reminders on all the fun ways young people can help each other. We don't want "Pats on the back" or "Atta GIrls" but we do want ideas on how we can help others. Kentucky didn't have a homeless population staying near the venue or we would have focused our "lovin" that way. We want to bring Random Acts of Kindness back!

How The Hell Did We End Up Here?

Seriously. Are we really accepting that our POTUS can say, "this may just be the calm before the storm" and wink? He winked like someone's skeevy old drunk uncle at his teen nieces.  I loathe this man in my town. We go into the city when I know he's in his tacky Jersey property. Fuck where is Lee Harvey Oswald when you need him? Hahaha

These sky reports are what I want to try and do. I know that it is a bit hard to do that, but it should be fine. I already know what I need to do, and this is just part of it. I will try my best to do whatever I can with this report that you gave me. I can probably do something like a date with my girlfriend, so I love that you gave this to every single one of us.
